“Winter sports“ remain a purely natural pleasure on the Planneralm, the highest skiing village in Styria (1,600 – 2,200 m). There’s not a snow machine in sight; the Planneralm is a 100% natural snow paradise, and its wind-protected position means that snow is guaranteed from December to April. The mountain village is especially popular with families thanks to its six lifts, 15 km of slopes and an excellent infrastructure (including ski school and sports outfitters). Romantics also get their money’s worth during ski tours over glistening sunny slopes, flood-lit tobogganing, high elevation cross-country skiing and winter hiking. Ski bunnies certainly shouldn’t miss out on the “dirndl day”, when the girls swing down the slopes at the cheapest rates.
From secret spot to sunset quarter: the ultimate freestyle park for boarding fans
The secret passion of active youngsters: the “Planneralm snow valley“ with spectacular free rider conditions for beginners and pros alike. The “kickerline“ is at the heart of the park, while many other runs are scattered across the entire area: "SEEKARWECHTE" - big kicker, double kicker line - easy & medium, "Nokia" curved box, "blue tomato" double kinked box, wall ride, rail line ... all in all, this the recipe for a truly great winter season! |
